Another thread with a roughly similar idea. Very few had/have the stones to be honest though. I'm not sure why, people all over the world post pics and info on themselves on the internet every day.
Apparently ET has an inordinate number of members who are either major losers, butt ugly or sissy boy shy.
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Born 1961 in Kansas City, MO. Grew up just outside of Chattanooga and have four younger sisters. I was dragged into a southern Baptist church three times a week, almost without exception. My dad once broke a 3/4" cutting board in 1/2 on my backside, then went to get the other one to finish what he'd started. (I had failed to be sufficiently quiet while he was taking his usual Sunday afternoon nap.)
My favorite reading growing up was the World Book Encyclopedia.
I was in the BSA and the CAP. I literally wore out a Crossman 760 pellet rifle and enjoy firearms to this day. First car was a 69' Chevy Impala. I had wanted a used jeep, and haven't forgiven my parents yet for not letting me get one. I've owned three since then. Got married too young then divorced 12 years and one day later. Worked one full time and one part time job while attending college (never finished) and taking flying lessons. Payed for almost all of both myself. I've been a professional pilot since the early to mid 80's. I have two kids both grown. I've hardly spoke with my daughter in four years, after she and my ex got the bright idea to go to the local police one night and falsely accuse me of assaulting her. Just so she could go live with her mother. (I had custody at the time) I've traded, as a hobby, just about everything there is at one time or another. Have not traded in months and probably won't until I finish my life long dream of building and flying a one of a kind experimental home built aircraft. I'm married to a little hottie, almost 10 years my junior. I have no use for spectator sports or talk radio. I expect to rot in Hell someday, if such a place does in fact exist. But that's OK, I know I deserve it. I have a "cushy" job working less than a third of the national average number of hours for my position. Politically I'm probably more of a paleo-conservative than anything else.

  4. I grew up in Montgomery Al. My favorite reading was also the World Book as a kid. I would pick a different letter each time and just go front to back.

Those time life books were great too.

I was brought into this country from Greece at the tender age of 18 months and lived in Watertown, NY for a while where my father was an Orthodox priest.

Years later, while at UVA (PhD in Physics and MBA) I met my wife and got married just a few short months later, best thing I ever did. We have two children: a daughter who's 16 going on 20, and a son who's 20 going on 16... some of you may recognize the situation. Worked for AT&T for 18 years and went on to trade full time in 1998 leaving a VP position offer on the table... still think I did the right thing, I'm not big on office politics, more of an introvert really.

I trade mostly stocks/ETFs on a 2-10 day horizon and make a good living out of it. I also daytrade a little, but I don't like it as much, at least not yet. I'm teaching my children to trade too: she took it like duck to water but he's clueless about money and wants to follow in his grandfather's footsteps, what can I say, that's good too. Like everyone in my family I'm very religious, conservative, pro-work/education, against war and pro-life.

Her ethnic background is from all over Europe: Italy, Germany, Austria, Lithuania, and England. She's now Orthodox and speaks very good Greek - we actually used that language to communicate in private in front of our children, until we realized/remembered that they could understand perfectly what we were saying... :)
