ET Reception Las Vegas Traders Expo

If you missed the recent Elite Trader get-together at the Traders Expo in Chicago, here's a heads-up on the next event.
On Thursday, December 15th, we will be hosting a reception from 4 - 6 PM at the Las Vegas Traders Expo, which will be held at the Paris Resort & Casino, December 13-16.

If you've never been to one of our receptions, our goal in hosting them is simply to connect traders in a face-to-face setting in the same way that our web site connects traders online. Like everything else we do, there are no strings attached whatsoever. We have nothing to sell you.... no software, no services, no training courses, nothing. We simply want to provide you with a place of refuge that's away from the mayhem on the trade show floor so you can meet each other and hang out for a couple of hours in a relaxed environment.

As usual, there will be free t-shirts and booze in the room!

I'll definitely be attending. Be off work for an entire week. Have my hotel reservations and plane ticket and looking forward to the Traders Expo.

 

I am trying to decide on whether to attend the Expo. Looking for a little experienced insight. Are the expo sessions worthwhile? Are the paid events worth the cost? Have people made lasting and useful connections at these events?

It is a first for me as far as Investing Expos go so, I am not sure what to expect. I have attended the car show at the Los Angeles Convention Center so, I would assume it is something similar but, geared toward investing. That is trading software, brokers, expert traders giving seminars for a fee, etc.
Have been attending seminars since, April 2005 and I do not regret devoting the time----it can probably help improve your results at the very least. I am sure I have still a lot to learn but, look forward to seeing and learning more!!!

 

If it is anything like the Chicago Expo, I'm sure that it will be a SUCCESS.

We are anticipating Las Vegas to be an even bigger event then all other events of the past. Just the other day I had to reorder more beer & wine, for the party.

Hopefully Big Buff will show up again.
