Baron couldn't send a pm with an attachment. Been seeing more and more of this happening to your site. My guess it's the Extreme switch your server is attached to that is causing the problem. Sometimes it's just the port your attached to that has the lost. 10 percent packet loss is pretty signicant. This isn't the first time I've seen the problem so this is just a heads up. fwiw Bsulli

There is no packet loss, at least a ping trace would not prove it. As your ISP verfied, their firewall is blocking pings, and this would show up as a "packet loss." I have noticed a SQL error though many times. nitro
