ET has been painfully slow all weekend

Has anyone else noticed this? Each page takes at least 30 seconds to completely appear. (No, it's not my connection: FIOS 20mbps -- every other site comes up instantly.)

 

Yes. Yesterday when I click on the link to the thread I see "Ooops, the link is broken" messege.
Now I can click the thread, but very, very slow.
This does not happen for all the other websites I go to.

 

It's been so slow that dial-up speed access would seem like broadband in comparison.

 

Probably:

1 - Maintenance.
2 - Going to some alternate & cheaper host on the w/e to save a bit of money?

out of curiosity...is it a single multi processor server(2.4. or 8) or is it a server farm? if the later how big?

 

I thought maybe the Republicans had staged a coup, taken over and began implementing efficiency measures. Something about trickle down access.
