You're forgetting that Jack Hersey made so much money trading stocks that the SEC investigated him. Or that his students routinely net three times the average daily range. Who's the crank now?
Is that actually true? Is there any evidence for this? Personally, I think he's 100% crank, but I am willing to concede I am wrong, if there's sufficient proof.
LOL. I was only repeating what he claimed. Jack is interesting. A long time ago, he posted a bunch of stuff on here about swing trading stocks, and I have to admit, it seemed to make a lot of sense. Of course, he had hs own terminolgy, etc. Then he started making wild claims about traing futures, such as the multiple of daily range stuff. Again, he had his own terminology and his method was too complex to put into words apparently. Color me skeptical.
I think he's probably a real deal! http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3851816#post3851816
Not too long ago JH claimed his average time to recognize a chart pattern was measured in nano seconds.
LOL So Jack is really the secret identity of the Dos Equis guy. I was expecting someone more ... interesting.
