    Pending resolution of the issue, the earliest time the E-mini (TM) S&P 500 futures will open is 17:00 CT. We will announce final notification of the re-open time 15 minutes prior to opening. Next status update at 16:40

    That's what I thought. At least Globex tries to push off technical difficulties to Fridays and evenings. I don't want to name names, but there is a certain ECN that always has the first technical glitches of the day around 9:35 a.m.
