does it expire at the open?

i held one stray position contract

 

I was wondering why Times and Sales stopped at 9:30 AM ET!

 

so how do you get out of it

hit the frozen bid or ask?

 

You will be cash settled at the SPX open.

 

so basicly do nothing, and interactivebrokers will settle it?

 

how much will he get?

 

I don't trade through IB but they should.

 

He'll receive 50x the SET value of SPX. That amount will of course be subtracted from the notional value of his ESU6 position. The differential will be his profit/(loss).

 

presumably it comes out the same as though I had liquidated at the final tick the pinned it to?
