  1. After a windows 10 upgrade my esignal program is eating up alot of cpu power . I have a intel i-5 and it never use to slow down . I have 12 charts open and its using 60-70% cpu power without anything else open . Dont know what it was before . I didnt make a retore point so i can go back . Any one experience this also ?

  2. Close all programs running in the background and clear cache. try that first!

  3. did but didnt do much . You think turning off window defender might help . Only use that computer for charts .

  4. NO that will not help much> call esignal support. I am sure they have came cross that issue before.
    Good luck

  5. i have asked them about 20 questions over the last 10 yrs . They have a generic answer " never heard of that problem" .

    Big AAPL

Try rolling back the most recent update to at least eliminate that possibility.

  7. Check the windows OS and ESignal for 64 bit vs 32. Running 32 esignal on a 64 platform will suck.

mine is intel i5 too and I have 20 - 30 charts open.

I got data feed to esignal on one computer and
separate data feed to my trading platform on another computer.

So it is quite easy for me to see how slow is the data feed to my esignal.
On fast moving day, it could be as slow as 3 seconds.
On slow moving day, the lag is not so significant.

just upgraded to version 12.9 few days ago.

    sooo many esignal problems today.
suddenly screen became blank, and charts started to reload.

it occurred more than 10 times today.
