Esignal ?

  1. That's exactly what I am talking about.

I have say 4 chart windows (60min, 15min, 5min, 1min). They are linked to the quote window in which I have 40 symbols.

I simply use the down arrow and Enter key in the quote window to go ticker by ticker, and each ticker I click, its chart appears on the linked chart windows. It appears INSTANTLY, zero wait - because it doesn't need to load, if I already loaded it in the morning. eSignal keeps the data locally.

With TS, the chart needs to reload from the server each time I click a ticker.

It doesn't matter that TS is faster loading charts than eSignal, because in eSignal you only need to load a symbol once, it doesn't reload every time you click it.

For example I constantly flip the YM/ES/NQ back and forth. The charts appear instantly. I don't want to imagine waiting a few seconds for the charts to reload from the server every time I flip them..

  3. I heard there's going to be a total user interface revamp in eSignal 8. Maybe they'll provide workspaces too. I for one don't use these anyway.

  5. There's not a word about this on the esignal forum. Being that Eurex is a different exchange, I would imagine esignal will have to add a subscription option for the exchange and charge accordingly for the exchange fees. This is another reason I'd rather not have Eurex, now I gotta pay for data from 2 exchanges.

  6. According to the vendor list at the the Deutsche-Boerse web site (the exclusive data provider for eurex/us) neither esignal or interactive data is listed. Perhaps amongst all their recent problems they sorta forgot about this.
