Hi George, The pictures were attached to a message post, not put in the files area. Look for a message posted yesterday evening with a title pertaining to tick charts. m.
It could be a nice feature to add page as the Sheet page inside an Excel Workbook, with this feature it could be quick to see our baskets for stocks in different trading style. Of course, only the active page should load symbol because the limit.
Matt Gundersen - Esignal Thanks in advance. I would like to see the ability to export the option analysis data to excel just like all the other price data via DDE. This would be extremely useful for option spreadsheets. I am talking about the volatility figure quoted on the option chain header, the implied volatility figures including the ones based on bid and ask, and the standard greeks delta gamma theta vega. If we could link these into the spreadsheets it would be really helpful and it would eliminate the need to spend money on additional software that could be used instead to buy esignal yearly subscriptions. Take that to your meeting. If this is not possible for some reason, then I would like to know how to get historical data into excel. So I can do my own calculations. Esignal already supports DDE, it would seem that most of the work is done, it is just a matter of taking a few hours to add the additional fields. I am sure everyone here agrees that this should be number one on the list. Keep up the good work.
I must make amends on this thread. I recently posted how un-userfriendly this program can be. Although it is difficult to navigate and get used to, once you do, it is simply excellent. So I completely retract my statement in an earlier post. E- signal's advanced charting ROCKS!! I have only one request: a users manual, a real one that I can sit on the pot and read if I want to.
Why not provide the manual in .pdf format - then you can print it out as many times as you like in case it gets some brown stuff on it. nitro
