Hard to tell at this point to be honest. About 1.5-2 years ago, we were subject to a different type of distributed denial of service attack, and we were able to clear it up in about 1 hour's time. Obviously we're about 2-hours in on this one, so it's more complex this time around.

We'll do our best to keep the community informed of the ongoing situation.

I love these guys who try to act like bigshots but spend the market hours posting on message boards.

I sit in an office. I am too old to trade. I leave the trading to my traders. It's either share my wisdom here or go play solitaire.

A REAL trader would not be posting or reading here until AFTER the market closes.

  4. Here is a good idea for all data vendors: why dont you give access to your realtime data on a daily or hourly basis - charged against credit card. Then when one supplier has an outage then traders have a fast and relatively cheap backup. Lets say 50 $ for one day - that includes all main markets. A competitor of esignal with such an offer would make a lot of money today.

Can you guys take your childish comments about each other to another thread ?

That would allow esignal to post updates here and we could focus our childish comments on them.

    :D

  7. Yea - that 20k comment was very obnoxious considering the audience. I love a-holes like that who think they are market wizards trading thier unleveraged Roth IRA. Pulease.

Just telling you like it is kid. If you "trading" you need a lot more than $20k. Hell, my wife's amex bill was more than that last month!

Otherwise your "trading" is nothing more than a hobby/pastime (like riverboat gambling). Now if you substitute the word "investing" for "trading" then then original comment that started this sub-thread is reasonable.

  9. Everybody knows you are a talker not a trader... but massaging your ego wont help pad that account
