eSIGNAL LAUNCHES NEW FINANCIAL PORTAL SITE – MARKETCENTER.COM

New, Global Financial Information Website Offers Free

Delayed Worldwide Quotes, Market-Moving News and Interactive Charts

HAYWARD, Calif. – November 17, 2005 -- eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision support tools to professional and individual traders, today announced the launch of its new financial website, MarketCenter.com™. Positioned as a global financial web portal, MarketCenter.com offers free quotes, charts and news data from around the world. MarketCenter.com is believed to provide more exchange-derived information than any other website of its kind.

eSignal, the developer of the original MarketWatch.com, which went public in 1999 and is now part of the Dow Jones organization, brings you eSignal’s new site, MarketCenter.com, which provides free access to delayed worldwide quotes, charts and news covering all major markets, including NYSE, NASDAQ, the London Stock Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange. The market coverage extends beyond U.S. and international equities to include a wide range of global futures, options and foreign exchange data from sources such as CBOT, CME, Eurex and Euronext LIFFE. MarketCenter.com provides feature-rich daily and intraday advanced charts with capabilities including multiple studies such as moving averages, Bollinger Bands, Fibonacci and more.

“MarketCenter.com is a free financial website focused on providing serious traders and investors with the global market news, data and tools they seek without the distractions that plague so many other sites,” said Chuck Thompson, president of eSignal. “Investors will appreciate the experience of visiting our site for the breadth and depth of its content, such as ETFs and mutual funds, and for the things that aren’t on our site such as required registration, pop-ups or full-screen ads. Our goal is to provide the most user-friendly, feature-driven, financial website on the Internet.”

In addition to the broad array of exchange data, MarketCenter.com also presents a variety of news, fundamental commentary and market analysis. Through a key strategic relationship with industry-leading news vendor Comtex News Network, MarketCenter.com offers access on average to more than 5,000 news stories each trading day from a broad range of news sources such as BusinessWire, PR Newswire, Knight Ridder, Associated Press and United Press International. The news includes general market coverage, breaking news and Wall Street events, as well as symbol and category specific items. This news coverage, accompanied by third-party commentary, is designed to provide a comprehensive perspective on the markets. Additional industry-leading news is provided by RealTimeTraders Newswires, theflyonthewall.com and DailyFX.

In September 2004, as part of its acquisition of FutureSource, eSignal acquired www.FutureSource.com - one of the leading futures sites available on the web today. Together, MarketCenter.com and FutureSource.com generate an average of 15 million page views per month with over 425,000 unique visitors and 125 million ad impressions “The newly launched MarketCenter.com, in combination with FutureSource.com, demonstrate eSignal’s commitment to build and market the most extensive financial websites for serious active traders,” said Jonathan Dean, eBusiness director for eSignal. “Our goal is to be a “one-stop-shop” for everyone with an interest in the capital markets, and to create financial web sites that are tailored to demanding requirements of the active trading community.”

MarketCenter.com also features MarketCenter LIVE™, a web-based application providing real-time access to streaming market quotations from major U.S., Canadian, South/Latin American, European, Asia/Pacific and African exchanges, available on a paid subscription basis. MarketCenter LIVE also offers streaming charts with analytics, real-time market scanners and mobile access via Pocket PC, Blackberry, Palm or smart phone device.
