It would be much more helpful if eSignal hired someone to answer the phone during market hours, and instructed the new hirees that when a customer suggests that he's having problems with their feed, the default answer is not 'the problem is on your end', especially when 9 times out of 10, eSignal subsequently announces that they are having a problem with their servers and they are doing 'everything they can' to fix it. Implicit in this is the concomitant suggestion that ESignal should spend a few dollars upgrading their servers so that these continuous outages, which eSignal regularly admits to on these boards, can be prevented in the future. These seem like more basic and more pressing needs than a Canadian news service. Don't you think? Don't worry, I won't hold my breath waiting for an answer. The answer from eSignal when asked for the most basic explanations is usually silence.
traderNik, Thank you for your post. We recently installed a new state-of-the-art phone system in our primary call center and that is helping us more effectively route calls and reduce wait times. We also continue to invest millions of dollars each year in our network infrastructure to insure reliability and high-speed throughput. In terms of service training, that continues to be an ongoing effort as well. To help, we are building new tools to more precisely determine where a problem exists between the user's PC and our network. We are looking to make those available this year. Thank you.
