  1. Has anyone tried the GTIS FOREX data feed add-on to eSignal?

    How is it?

    Hi InTheZone,

I am a satisfied user of eSignal Forex.
I am not daytrading and not refering the tick base of the data.
However, as long as I obeserve USD/EUR/JPY tick, it seems very fast and accurate.
In fact, my basic subscription is futures, and I trade ES mainly. As you can see this boards, eSignal is one of the best eMini data vendor available, and I credit them.
The most advantage for me to use eSignal as Forex vendor is that I can deal data through the same platfom I always use in eMini trading, especially, since I am a system trader and using WealthLab Devloper, the ability to deal the data on WLD platform is a must. $50 on top of what I had used to pay was not a big deal to me.

    Regards,

You can now also get our GTIS Forex service on MarketCenter along with streaming European data, our ultra light Java product.

    Check it out here: http://www.MarketCenter.com

    Chuck,

Does Ensign work with MarketCenter only?

    Thanks,

    vorzo,

Ensign only works with eSignal. MarketCenter is a standalone Java browser product.

Both support the GTIS FX service.

    iqfeed DTN

Just to clarify, Ensign works with DTN Satellite, IQFeed/DTN.IQ and Esignal.

We don't currently offer GTIS, but have Barclays and Tullet FOREX data priced at $25/mo (in addition to RT Equities, Futures and European Futures for $44.50/mo with annual DTN.IQ subscription)

  7. It is true that IqFeed has FOREX data, but they don't have a database of past ticks/1 minute data as they have for futures or securities.

Also, I understand you can't chart FOREX with (say) Ensign... At least so they told me.

    iqfeed DTN

That is correct. We recently released our Forex feed and have not yet implemented the intraday or historical system for it. I would guess we will have it available towards the end of the month.

Ensign does support Forex charting with IQFeed/DTN.IQ (still checking to see if they support our satellite datafeed). Within the last couple days Ensign released an update to support our Forex feed. Because Ensign stores the incoming ticks, it will build charts without a problem.

    With no backfill...

But don't get me wrong, the IQFeed + Ensign combination isn't bad. Looking forward to the historical data...
