As usual, it seems nobody bothered to verify before jumping on the bandwagon. I see no evidence of those charges in the current price list on the web site. Ask yourself why they would charge $155 (which almost nobody would pay) instead of the actual pass-through rate. Does it make any sense? Do you know of any data source that routinely marks up exchange fees significantly (and has any customers)?
lol, this post is so funny, he is talking to me like I'm a 16 year old or something. I can't solve stupidity, but I can sure point it out, and the above speaks for itself. Steve reminds me of that annoying person that always points out the most obvious things in the world, and thinks he is smart for doing it. Good stuff, I guess I'm going to move back into mommy's house to make you feel like you are right. ===== Anyways, after dealing with stupidity, I agree with eSignal shouldn't be charging this much for the crap they provide, just total rip-off and almost non-existing tech support as well in an industry where tech support is needed often. Good stuff!
Hi Toonces, Not sure where you got that info but eSignal charges $10 for ARCA Book. If you don't have any other Market Depth services, there is an additional $20 depth fee. So, that would be $30 in total (not $155) to add to a compatible subscription. We're having some technical problems updating our Exchange Pricing site so the ARCA book is currently not displayed. Should be fixed next week but I confirmed the prices in our system so you can go into Account Maintenance and see them as well. Thanks.

That's what the rep quoted me. Sorry if I wasted everyone's time, but that's what I was told. Next time I'll get more than one quote!
Yeah because I'm sure a data provider would be advertising their higher prices... What an idiot... I'll let people decide for themselves which is obviously a better option. I'm not here to argue the fact that eSignal is a rip off, we already know this.
I'm unsure where that $155 came from, but it flat out wrong. The current fees for ARCA on eSignal are as follows: Non-Professional: USD10.00 per access device per month Professional: USD30.00 per access device per month If the original poster can point us to where he heard the price was $155, we'll certainly get that corrected.
