    eSignal’s Award-Winning, Technical Analysis Application Offers Eight New Studies, An Improved User Interface and Linkage to Direct-Access Brokers


    HAYWARD, Calif. – May 17, 2005 -- eSignal, a division of Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC) and a leading provider of streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision support tools to professional and individual traders, today announced the immediate availability of Advanced GET™ Real-Time 8.2, the newest upgrade to eSignal’s Advanced GET product line which delivers graphical charting with a full set of technical analysis tools for equities and futures investors. Advanced GET Real-Time 8.2 combines eSignal's entire collection of real-time, streaming U.S. and international equity and futures data with a newly expanded set of powerful technical analysis indicators. Users will appreciate a new graphical user interface, which has been updated to include floating windows, as well as links to direct-access brokers, directly from within Advanced GET Real-Time 8.2.

These additions include Accumulation Distribution, Average True Range, Choppiness, Momentum, Rate of Change, Stochastic RSI, Williams %R and Float Turnover Channel. These additions bring the total number of technical studies and drawing tools available in Advanced GET Real-Time 8.2 to more than 50.

    In addition to the new studies, Advanced GET Real-Time 8.2 features a streamlined interface with menus that display the most commonly used items first, while hiding lesser-used menu items. Floating windows have also been introduced and allow users to open any window, such as a chart or quote window, and either dock it within the Advanced GET interface or treat it as a separate window outside the interface. The floating windows feature is easily adapted to individual needs and is specifically designed for multi-monitor traders.

    As a final enhancement to Advanced GET Real-Time 8.2, users may place trades with select brokers, check trade status and view portfolios from within the application using messaging functionality.
