What can you do to delete erroneous prints that show up in esignal after the market has closed? For example, if I specify sp z3=2, which is 9:30-4:15pm, the chart will still show a few bars after 4:15 with one or two contracts of volume. These throw the indicators off for the next day. It happens for stocks too. If I specify nyse only (=n) there will still be wierd prints off and on for a few hours after 4:00pm. I know there is a bar editor that lets you modify price and volume, but I don't see any way to delete bad data. But it shouldn't happen in the first place.
You have a few options. 1) Use a Time Template to limit the hours that are charted. Information on creating a Time Template can be found here. 2) Use Price Filtering to remove price spikes from the chart automatically. By default Price Filtering is turned off, but you can turn this on by right-clicking the Advanced Chart, and then going to Tools --> Price Filtering. FAQ's on Price Filtering can be found here.
