kinda like zoom in and out; magnify?

Do you know if esignal market depth has the Level 1 box for trading? That's another thing i wanted to ask about as well.

  4. No zoom function that I am aware of other than blowing the chart window up to fill the screen.

Don't know about the market depth, as I am not a fan. Check their website. I can probably answer any questions about coding up systems, since that is my thing. I use none of their canned indicators.

But it was there in the 10.6 edition. Are you sure it doesnt exist in the new esignal version?

  6. I see it in 10.6, it's on the line toolbar, which I don't display. I don't see it in the available commands on "Toolbars - Customize". "New functionality at the expense of old."

  8. Go to the eSignal support forum and complain. It seems that they are more motivated to fix something given a public complaint. Speaking of which, ever since the inception of 11.5 it has had a bug such that if you setComputeOnClose in an efs code the value of the study is not visibly returned on the chart scale. Does that mean that they don't think new users will use efs, so they don't care about this bug? This is still occurring on a new computer running Windows 8.

But I am still using the accurst thing to be prepared for when they no longer support 10.6. I have been using the same screen layout for several years, and every day I am surprised at how the alienness of 11.5 detracts from my market comprehension.

  9. How do you all like eSignal? I am looking into using their web based platform for crude oil charts. I need something accurate and without much of a lag.

  10. I think that you will find the accuracy, speed and latency to be acceptable. FWIW their quote data always matches IB's. Their data feed is especially good if you want every trade without any aggregation. In rare circumstances I have seen the feed choke on a hot open, but that might have been Globex, not eSignal (I trade NQ). Loads up pretty fast at night if you want to look back, or do backtesting. I have zero issues with the data stream, my beef is that when they "improved" from v10.6 they lost the time-tested look-and-feel of it.
