    Good question DBPhoenix;
    this reply related to that.
    Made more money on SPY + stuff related than NasdaQQQ-related , even though it tends to make more move % on up side + downside%. But i'm not through with NasdaQQQ/tek stocks=tend$ to be real strong 4th quarter[except in bear markets ,LOL]Larger trends do not =larger profits, if one gets in late-- they lose more; but some times larger trends make more.

    So, ones trading record/personal journal could help also.............................................

    Surprisingly good pre-holiday volatility and clean patterns on the NQ this morning.

    Indeed ... and on many other mornings, really ... not that I have any bias on the subject at all, as a regular NQ trader, needless to say, oh no, not a bit of it, not in any way ...

    Quite interesting and sometimes amusing to see these threads bumped from a couple of years, or more, before I joined the forum. (From looking at the first page, my guess is that DBP genuinely had no perception at all of how remarkably patronizing, condescending and cringeworthy the overall tone of his posts was? Or maybe he actually did, but just didn't care anyway? Hard to tell ... o_O )

    dbphoenix is a woman and it's possible that she simply grew weary of the ignorance and mindlessness on these threads. I was trading with a small group of fellows during much of the time she posted on ET and didn't pay much attention to ET but it is my understanding that she was generous and helpful to the novices.

    I don't think he meant it that way XEla; but since he wrote more like a brilliant man, for years- if he is a man ,that would explain a lack of sensitivity, FOR SURE.[No offense to any, but only fake news would pretend male + female ARE THE SAME.] LOL
    Like the UK[United Kingdom] fund manager, [a man] said; don't use all your bullets, then the elephant comes along. I'm actually a sensitive man myself; so I certainly not saying all men are unsensitive; cool.

    I've also invested many YEARS, in wildlife management;so 3 black crows/pattern does not mean much , but they could.............................................................................................

    Good points, skillUK;
    part of the 1990's big trends was a NasdaQQQ uptrending Bull market ,that the cash NasdaQQQ [ or was it QQQQ, they changed thier name LOL] did 89% one year.......

    But the sharper, much more different moves that bear markets had like, 2000,2001,2002 + 2008 bear downTrenders had, with more vol + volume blew out a lot of traders/investors.
