ES volume criminally low today.

ok, so I guess 2/3 of the volume during our afternoon hours comes from foreign daytraders working at 4am their time.

IWM volume is < 50% avg, SPY-1/3 of avg vol. make me think that most of the volume on US exchanges is not from US ..

 

Who knows, might be a combo of that and Bernake Wed .

 

I`m surprised people are surprised by this

It`s still a holiday in Europe, so I deliberately took the day off expecting low volume and small (if any) directional movement.

Only bots playing back and forth

Just like Thursday (markets in Europe were closed that day as well).
