Is it possible technically? If you are in long, and want to short at the same time, doesn't that mean you sell your long position? I haven't traded emini but sounds interesting.
A buy offsets a sell and a sell offsets a buy. In a single futures account it isn't possible to be long and short at the same time. Short in futures doesn't work the same way as in stocks.
Thanks Arbster. I do indeed trade over a T1. However I have also been successful over 56K from a hotel room. Bandwidth isn't the issue, latency is. I can't compare to the Globex terminal. Doesn't matter much to me anyway since I don't scalp anymore.

I am also looking for software that will help me chart my trades at the end of the day. I would like a program that allows me to plug in my trades and then automaticaly plot the entry/exits on a chart.
