Thanks for all the replies. I was really wondering why the IB demo is so inaccurate although they say it's the same thing, just delayed. In anycase, it does look like I have a whole lot of studying to day. Thanks again.

Just wondering if you have started trading ES? If so, how is the comparisons and differences? what happened that you didn't expect?
or a stock that moves with a high correlation to the SP500 in small increments before trading e minis in my opinion ... if you do not have 25 K to Daytrade you can try small daytrades 1-3 contracts in QQQ options very liquid ... to test your methodology good luck ...
