    Maverick,

Read what I said. I said that I did not _know_ of them, ET or otherwise. Knowledge to me means scientific knowledge. Asking whether someone on ET makes money trading ES/NQ by PM is a joke.

Outside of the professional emini traders that I know that make a killing trading ES/NQ, I am in contact with 50 professional traders at my firm. Thru that firm, I am aware of _retail_ traders that have claimed to be able to make money trading the e-futures and have submitted systems to us.

Without exception, many if not most were GROSSLY exaggerating their results (with one exception, and that was a hedge fund,) or when their methods are put up against real science for extended periods of time, they do not work even as well as what we have come up with.

What firm do you work with? I was under the impression you traded at home.

what are e-futures? sorry, that is probably an extremly stupid question.

i read some books on the gita, which were quite confusing. i mean mercy, compassion and killing relatives do not easily go hand in hand with each other. and a god that inspires murder is - quite something to chew upon. nevertheless the gita is praised for being a superior source of wisdom ...

then i heard someone giving talks on the gita and it was amazingly enlightening. it could be that i am a little brainwashed ever since (and in the end, it was quite dirty anyways), but there is so many aspects in every day live, including business, where the things i heard bring it to the point. amazing. amazing.

good luck with your efutures ... wtf?

    peace

  8. FWIW, I do not trade futures exclusively and this year have only engaged off and on with them, I am on currently though, but it's not my sole market. For the most part my experience has been pretty on par with Nitro's. I traded them exclusively in 02 and while I had some great runs/months and finished the year positive (+6 figures) there were also many months during that year when the exercise was one of futility and I would have had more fun chewing on cactus. I only traded futures the first few months of 03' and I was pretty much flat when all was said and done. I am positive this year with them, but the bulk of my profits have come from swinging equities for days at a time. I have never scalped though, never would either. My style is more intraday swing, hours to days. If you are so interested in whether or not I am profitable as a trader, just get my number from Kurt, call me and I will give you the adress to the office building I trade out of and if you are civil I'll show you my tax returns for 7 years of profitible trading. Only one of which was trading futures though...

Overall, I have to be honest, I am not 100% sure I as a trader can profit off of index futures over a considerable length of time (+3years or more). Something makes me keep going back at them though, thats for sure. So I'm back on them now, testing a method with sample sizes over the next 50 sessions, we shall see how that goes. I am 100% honest with Kurt so I'm sure you will know whether it was a profitable exercise for me or not. Thankfully I am a very solid equities swing trader, so even if the next 50 sessions are a waste, I am pretty sure I will still be more than OK at the end of it...

Anyway I hope that can quench your curiosity. Also, Kurt was in a room with me everyday for 3 months where I called every play out and absolutely crushed the market -- so you can ask him about that if you'd like.

    PEACE,
    Commisso

  9. For clarification purposes; I am male and my name is Joe :)

Also, fwiw, I think I will be alot less hostile around here now that this new ignore feature has been implemented. The trash to content ratio has gone up considerably over the last few days. GJ Baron...

  10. A couple of quick questions if you don't mind.

    1) How many trades did you do per day on average on ES/NQ when you were trading them?

    2) You are working on some e-futures, and then you said they include ES/NQ, I am a bit confused here. Do you mean, other than ES/NQ, the rest like ZB, YM, ER2, ZN are all tradeable?

    3) Do you currently daytrade or swing trade stocks?

    Thanks
