  1. sax - I hope you read these posts before putting real $ on the line. But if you do, make sure to start a journal so we can see how it goes with real cash on the line!

  2. Buy1Sell2

    Buy1Sell2

One must first spend several years learning to position trade before ever attempting to shorten the frames down like this. Thank you for your time.:)

  3. In the past I have lost around $20K in the span of 12 hours and I survived. Drove a 1973 Chrysler Plymouth from NYC all the way to Panama and back. Slept in my car in absolutely worst hoods of Central America. Was introduced to batons of MPs in the Panama Canal and there is plenty more stories like this. So do I consider myself tough???? Ask the MP fellow whose rib and nose was broken when he wanted to arrest me for being in a bar where US GI could not hang (I was not a GI, but he thought I was.... his mistake). Having said that, I respect the market and I know that being humble is a sign of wisdom not weakness. Being tough does not equal being cocky.

  5. OK, here is the subject that you posted.

"Es profit on 1/4 point can it be done? Part II"

My answer: no, not by you.

My reasoning: it lies within the wording of the very question that you asked. If you have even the slightest chance of success then the question would have been framed in a different manner.

I strongly suspect other traders see it more or less in the same light, hence the response, which quite frankly has been excellent.

Just imagine for a moment, if the responsible traders had not responded to your question and the more playful amongst us had offered you lashings of encouragement, knowing full well what the outcome would be.

All in all, I think that you have had an excellent morning and it has not cost a dime ( ego apart and we will throw that into the lesson for free)

  6. How would you have worded this question?

Most of the responses were excellent.

Not only it did not cost me a dime, this thread will probably save me a bundle.

As for my ego.... well I am crying inside, other than that, I am still a tough cookie.

  7. I would'nt, I know too much to go chasing single points as an objective.

I passed through that stage some years ago, that is how I and others know exactly where you are.

  8. it's ok then.
it doesn't look like you're the classic teenager who thinks he will kick some asses easily and he gets his ass kicked. (easily also)

good luck, let us know if you try this with real money.

  9. Most people think that because I have 22 in my handle, I am in my early 20's. Nothing could be further from the truth. I was born during the Tet Offensive. :D ::( :) :p
