<i>"I hope you are not insinuating that my 1/4 method and my scaling in countertrend method are both in the same trading lala land? While I do contend that 1/4 way is not viable in its original form, I think my countertrend scaling in way is viable."</i> Not at all... I am wondering why you would fixate on micro-scalping when what you should be doing is focus on honing skills per what is working for you right now. I don't recall any of us saying scalping for a few ticks cannot be done by anyone... I will add it takes a very special & unique person to pull that off over long periods of time. Sounds glamorous, is very grueling in reality. We specifically stated it was logistically impossible to capture the bid/ask spread for +1/4pt ES in that previous thread. The example you've given here to support prior theory there is akin to someone saying nectarines and plums are the same. They are very similar fruits, actually related but not the same. Scalping for several ticks (more than one) is mathematically possible. Scalping the ES for one single tick is logistically impossible. I agree to agree on the former, and you know I'm always rooting for ya, saxton. I'd prefer everyone win at this game... by far the most challenging thing we'll ever attempt to master in our lives
I totally agree with this...see my related post on it..click here http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=95542&perpage=6&pagenumber=1
But are you doing it with real money and consistent success? Because everything else is fairy dust until then
Yeah and you talk a pretty good game too.. but if we check your posts you are one of the SCT drones that constantly asks stupid questions in Spyder's thread.. everyone in that thread has been getting slaughtered
I totally agree...I am researching and researching and researching...looking to go live September 4th...I totally believe in the 1 ES point reality!
Ok, but you need to know price action better so you can take more when the market offers it.. you'll get creamed if you don't
as for the "price action" discussion...where do you begin it instructing it? I.E, support, resistance, pivots, open bar and close bar, stochs? etc.?thanks!!!!
