After having spent some time on Google I still can't figure out what time exactly do ES (E-Mini S&P 500) futures options stop trading at expiration. I have experience with equity and equity index options (OEX, SPX, SPXW, SPXPM) and some of them stop trading on Thursday, some on Friday, some at 16:00 and others at 16:15 ET. I have never traded futures options and would prefer to avoid some nasty surprise here. I always try to close all option positions to avoid exercise. What is the end of trading (exact time) of the following ES option subclasses (Globex code is provided in the brackets): Monday Weeklies (E1A - E5A) Wednesday Weeklies (E1C - E5C) Friday Weeklies (EW1 - EW4) End-Of-Month options (EW) Quarterly options (ES)
