It doesn't give a normal stop after entry. It gives stop and reverse points at the end of each 45 min. bar. In addition it also has a catastrophe stop in case of a big move before the next bar update - currently at 1119.75. It does give stops and sometimes limit orders for the exits once a position is profitable.

How do you usually fare on triple-witching Fridays?

    Enjoying your journal.

I don't know. I only watch what I need to do. I don't worry about FED days, triple-witch, holidays, or any other period.

I'm glad you're enjoying the journal. At the end of the month I'll re-balance the three systems and come up with new weights to achieve my 50%/year goal. I'm also thinking of turning on the selective filter in the breakout system. It's been underperforming badly.

    Have a great weekend!

    msprofitable,
I too am enjoying your journal. I read through it in its entirety last night.

You were good enough to post the Tradestation summary report of one of your three systems (the swing system); I wonder could you also post this for the other two systems?

By the way, have you thought about or done anything to try and automate your trading?

I probably shouldn't have posted the summary report on the swing system. I won't be posting the summaries for the other systems because I think it could be used to copy them.

I don't know anything about automating the systems. I have a worksheet on each system and record the performance with it. Maybe someday my husband will get tired of trading and pay someone to automate some of the systems. Since he trades against them it wouldn't make much sense to automate them now.
