Back in the early days of the last crisis the fed did a suprise pre-market cut and we had a bigger 1-min candle I believe. Thought it was like 40 handles, but that may have been over more than the 1-min bar.

But ya, that was a nice move, good exit on those longs.

iloveoptions stopped put here for 310 point loss. Just so folks know, I don't believe there was a loss here. I do believe these are faux trades. Showing averaging trades on a public forum is generally a way for someone to be right all the time. I don't really consider these averaging trades, because there is no way to know what an account size is. This is why we only consider trades with stops here and then evaluate the merit of the stop. --Best to be wrong a lot with a conservative stop and then be right for the big winner. :)

  6. Thanks for rubbing it in  I don't mean to be rude, but you are one mean spirited ______ regardless of all the smilies you place at the end of your post.

    To each his own.

I am paying attention. Suggest going to straight trades with stops. --Posting averaging trades is of no real help to anyone since this is about trading ES, not investing in it. It will most likely make you a better trader if you start doing that. Get your feet held to the fire and it will make you trade better. Use a realistic stop, even if paper trading, and see what your results are. Anyone can post averaging trades until they are right. :)

  10. I don't believe I ever asked you for trading advice. Please keep it to yourself.

I also would like to make you aware that your stop was 55 points from your entry. Mine was 50. What makes yours more realistic than mine??

Do you see why I don't care for your advice, even though you finally got the trade right?

I don't mean to be offensive, but there are other people who trade better than you do here, no?
