kudos for your short being profitable but you posted a short trade with no stop where was your stop when you put the trade on ?
Just an educated guess of course but these projections tend to be fairly accurate. Good trading to everyone. FoN
@ volente_00 the question was where is your stop. Not where was your stop when you entered. The market has moved in my favor and to still have the same stop right now would not be the best trade management. (it would be letting a winner turn into a loser) My original stop was 1305.75 all my stops are dynamic based on the market I had a program created from a programmer at odesk.com that tells me where to place my stop profit targets, etc updated each new bar based on information/parameters I supplied to the programmer.
finally someone who gets it now the only question left is do we trade down 100 points from 1373 or do we get the same % move and tag 68 or dowe follow cash and the area is 1273-1275 before the move to high 1300's
I was just curious. I notice you scale your exits. Is that because you lack confidence in your target or because you just want to smooth the equity curve ?
I scale my exist because I trade in 4's based on how I like to trade (personal preferences) and how the market moves. I trade in 4's The Tick (Scalp), Trade, Trend, Triumph the last level triumph has no set pip/point target. I just let it ride as long as the market will allow or when my strategy tells me to exit because I have already been triumphant My targets are not entirely based on my confidence, opinion, and/or beliefs. They are 100% based on the market. We all have different ways of trading. If it works for that person it works. My way of trading has nothing to do with what I think will happen next. If I wake up tomorrow and a long has been triggered I would love to trade the market long to 1312.50 over the next couple of weeks. But for right now I am short and over the next couple of weeks I am looking to 1265 and lower.

Thanks for your post. I don't really understand it though. What is "Trade"? Perhaps you could provide a graph with annotations for today, Wed, showing what you mean in more concrete terms.
