Gov't default. And I'm not talking about the Feds. All across the country states, counties, and munis are literally bankrupt, and it's not improving. Budgets are greater than revenue, with HUGE deficits. Gov'ts are giving IOUs, creditors are freezing lines, bondholders (now holding in essence junk rated bonds) are very worried. How to fix it? Cut programs (lay off workers and cut entitlements, i.e. ask people to go without) and raise taxes, both of which are going to cause a revolt. I'm not a negative nelly, but the US is in huge, huge trouble.
QE3 will not be feasible do to inflationary concerns. Not having that extra $5-9 billion a day will hinder equity gains.

the market has not closed below the 10 DMA once during the past 30 days. And as Sentiment Trader notes, "this has never happened before, in 82 years of history." http://www.zerohedge.com/article/sp-melt-price-momentum-once-never-event
Just curious for anyone that's been trading for more than a couple of years-how many of you are looking to either trade a different asset class or at least move on from the ES given the lack of volatility? Given there is no vol anymore and the underlying put by Bernanke means that no one will sell anymore, it would seem there are a lot better opportunities for money making in different asset classes. Anyway - just wondering.
Clever trade That drop was too tempting not to buy. When you gonna bank your profit? mid 80's or so??
move on from the ES!!?? I look at it from a very different view, lol. They are making it easy to print money on the ES , in part, due the reasons you mention. I cant think of a 'better opportunity'!. Embrace the fact that we always go up. Dips will always be bought. It's rigged...but its great! Fedpeople - probably about 1290ish I suppose.
