I`d be suprised if we go higher for the day considering what`s happened today. 1300 is probably the top for the day, but everything can happen. Not sure if I want to enter any short yet though. Will let the market top first and then enter when price picks a direction (if it does). 1293 is 50% of the daily range. Should at least see 1295 if we`re heading lower. Think I will be looking for a short at 1298, unless price actually goes higher.
That next time you use the Quote button (lower right corner), instead of CTRL + C copying a post. Really, not that hard to learn. By the way I was complimenting on your call. Didn't I say, marvelous???
Nothing like posting something 3 hours later. By the way I actually gave that trade to you, you should have got your 1 point. Since I promised something, here is the explanation: This is the statistic of emg's and my inverse strategy of his trading. Since a certain moderator who was born in England in 1215 started to delete my post when I did that live back in January, I had to code the data. Anyway: FNH : means his stupid 1 point strategy: 24 signals / 3 trades / 75% (batting average) the market moves initially his way and profits: 3 points (in 2 months) DLF: is my inverse strategy trading his signals 6 winner / 3 losers / 6 breakeven making 30 points. (I actually traded it really sloppy, and I didn't take all the signals.) I am not going to explain how exactly I am trading it, figure it out for yourself. It is pretty obvious, you just have to come up with a stop loss. Today's call was good for at least 5 points, depending on where you got in between 93-96... Have a nice weekend everybody!
I`m glad I did not take that tempting short @ 1300. Would still be surprised if we do go higher than this, but the market suddenly looked strong. Could be that NQ and YM wanted to tag round numbers and dragged the ES a few points higher before turning. Also a test of the gap. I`m thinking that a dip below 1300 now should look nice for a short.
getting out of this dodgy one from the other day here for +.5 Made a few on add-ons in the meantime though
I think I made $400 trading one es contract several times today I scare myself 1300 x 50 = $65,000 slinging around $65,000 based on little squiggles on a chart and some magical hand drawn trend lines wow.
Trade what you see, not what you think. Notice how clear the trend is on the 5-minute ETH. I kept looking for a reversal after the breakout and close above 1295. Had I consulted the 5-minute ETH and trusted the trend that had developed there, I might have held my target all the way to my 2nd target.
