Well, the last time it took only one day: Here is an excellent example of the W %R signaling a swing buy at the end of Jan 28th.... Now I know it doesn't look like hitting -100, but you have to watch it in real time, because later it adjusts to the price movement. So what is a clear hit in real time, doesn't always look like one later... Edit: NDX's W %R is already at -90 right after the open....
