50 point drawdowns when shorting ES in a bull market have a way of bruising fragile egos and bringing out the best in peope. If history is any indicator, the last time there was discussion between me and my good friend we were trading around 1075 at Aug expiration right before the S&P went on a tear from 1040's to now.
Volente: No matter how good one is or is not, this is a very difficult profession for everyone. IMO. The unprofitable want to become profitable, the profitable want to get bigger, the bigger want to get huge, and the huge want something else. That there aren't more fights and ego-battles is due to moderation and self-restraint. It's very easy to lose one's marbles, not once in a while, but often. Everyone, that has been in the trenches for a while, knows that having a good plan and executing it properly, at all times, are very different things.
...And why you released early... Since you have come back with your new handle...your posts resemble one of an antagonist , especially with your insane (qualified) predictions without any supporting reasoning...but then we expect no more...and the absolute majority have proven wrong... Good thing you don't trade... Your last quote," market about to tank 5%" ,unquote is typical of one still losing their marbles... NiN
