You're being modest YOu're about the best swing trader i've come across in my time on trading forums. I do know someone who I chat with on skype who is better at the short term stuff though, I think. Although he wont tell me how he does it He caught like every squiggle on a 5min chart today (and most days) for lots of 4-5 point winning trades, and it greatly frustrates me!! lol
Sounds like to much work for me. And fwiw I am a far better intraday trader than swing trader. Maybe I'm just getting old but if the trade does not offer 10 or more points it does not even get my attention anymore.
had you added at 85 83,you would be happy,if you dont avg ,thats fine, but quit with the jabs at this style of trading, you just can't help yourself, avg is putting on 1 large position at several prices,(MY POSITION TRADING TIMING IS A POS)had you averaged your 3 lot (better way to enter) since picking tops or bottoms accurately is rare luck, you would have had less drawdown at a better price, while still using the same damage control stop out,had you used b1s2's method all in/all out,you would have also had a better balance sheet, using tighter stops,in and out twice and back in ,there a a lot of ways to trade..stop posting about that in which you are not versed in,you're not ignorant
It was both the r10 signal was ~87 I have already exited the daytrade portion of it. Trailed my stop to break even at 85.25 on the swing portion Still think we trade down to 1050 on cash but I can trade 10 times as much size intraday for the same margin that the swing position eats up. That candle on the hourly is ugly and one you often see at a top
