  1. [Just an observation]

Bears have fought off bulls and kept the market closing under 1125 support three trading days in a row on the daily candle.

Bears have had control for 6 trading days

-Every time the price gets back up to around 1140-1156.25 large sell orders enter the order flow and knock the price back down.

-Current range appears to be 1112-1156.25 anything inside this is just noise/range (no clear direction) but a nice range to play in for day traders.

Bulls need to get back above 1156.25 and fight off any major orders looking to sell the bounces.

We are two weeks away from Sept Non farm payroll and we have GDP this friday.

There is no news at this time to cause a crash/continual major sell off.

Market is waiting for economic data....

    Benerake to speak friday also.....

Have fun everyone trading the range. Will post update if we make it outside of the range.

    1112-1156.25

  4. Still the same...According to NT support, NT is free with IB for the simulator only. For real you have to pay. I wasted 5 minutes. I guess I had it coming.

VIX coiling up again, looks like tomorrow is do-or-die for the 1095-1115 supp. area. Look at some of those OTM puts, 14pts for the 1000 strike that expires in about 18 trading days...

  6. Coming up on 10k/contract profit again. Hope your liquid net worth is high. You could have made the lifetime income of most people with a 100 contract trade.

  7. Yeah Buddy!!

He is almost at 200 points again.

If the average day trader is around 1-6 contracts (Yes some trade x10 more than that)

The average swing trader including myself around 10-60 contracts

The average position trader (BuySell's current position is a position trade) 100-600 contracts

If you draw the line in the sand at 300 contracts that is 10K (200 ES points) x300 contracts = $3,000,000

BuySell says Wingo I am glad you have been looking at Ferrari's. I'm over here looking at putting a down payment on a Yacht.
    [End of Fictional Conversation]

I been swinging in and out the SP500 since 1321 after June Non Farm Payroll but its cool to see an even higher level trading style than has been holding from almost the same level. Its also cool to see day traders that have been killing it on the short and long side since 200 points ago.

Paper trade over 1122.50 Scratch. -- Personally, my style would be just to look for shorts in a downtrend. Let It Be had it right today.:)
