Ahem, unless you shorted in the am when he wrote:  We were I believe somewhere around 1112. Nice job with that CL, Nod.
Yes, when he calls a long entry, you immediately short and when he calls a short, you immediately buy. Unbelievable positive expectancy! (Was it just me or did CL seem "difficult" today? You can answer that back on the "hooters" thread, since this is the "nips & cleavage" thread).
Cl held the impluse move lows from overnight of the 9th as es held impulse move lows from Sunday night this morning. Es had engulfing impulse bars on multiple timeframes yest that were very shortable all day. Price action trading, yeah!!! 1111 is a number of the illuminati, emg knows of this I think.
The short that developed yesterday was gone in the first few bars of today. Not surprising... there must be a TON of stops above 23 (Dec) and they never let it get a day's trade away from that level. We are now moving in this market's favorite direction... if we get above 23 it could be explosive. The short isn't dead yet - but it's not looking good. My bet - we take out 23 and run... probably on the numbers tomorrow morning. DISCLAIMER: I'm not trading it - I still think a more substantial PB is due... big money will be selling into the run if it happens.
Tomorrow seems the last best chance for a gap over 1130 on news and the break out of the IHS thing fake or not. But the last few days looked more like they were clearing the shorts below 1130 and then they park it near the high for the employment nos. - too cute. Are the big boys still on vacation?
Except he is kind of inconsistent now, and that is the worse, because you never know, which one will work and which one won't. I don't blame him for the 1106 call, that was the gapclose, I also thought we would make it down there. But chances are if you shorted with his call from 1112 you got stopped out at BE, because we turned back at 1109. The next call was good though (I didn't see it in real time), therefore the inconsistent rating... But let's congratulate him, he made his 2 ES pts this month, already 100% more than in August!!!
BTW - the $FTSE has already broken out of its "IHS" and could be instructive to watch. Is the US worse off than the UK. http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$ftse
