  1. offer @ 24.50 (dec)

I'm gonna wait. I need to see if sept holds 27.5, it's pretty much a bloody air pocket all the way to 39

Hi Airwaves, have you rolled your remaining cars into Dec (and if so, what's your average price) or are you still trading Sep?

Not prying or anything, just curious (and glad you seem to be getting out with your skin and a cat's) :)

Pretty interesting. You won't regret watching this. It is about solving UK's national debt which is around £800b.

  6. Looking at a larger trade SHORT on ES 1122-1124 as it looks relatively low risk.

However, I do not trust the recent collapsing of the dollar and rush towards metals to validate this risk.

Looking at using SPY for a possible bigger short position in the face of allowing ES daily moves (capitalizing on volatility).

Note the cup and handle on the eur/usd daily and the IHS on ES...caution.

Talking a swing position, so spare me the "trade what you see" short term. That is my normal m.o.

  8. Hi. thanks
Skin was never in danger, lol. It was a 'nothing' drop. I've sat through MUCH worse and came out of it OK :)

As mentioned (and some people know) I was averaging in all the way down waiting for the bounce and was able to catch a rather large chunk of the bounce from near the lows.

I trade with a UK spreadbet firm so things work a little differently and nothing 'rolls over' when trading this cash market. I am still holding 2 of my original long positions (one currently at about BE and another one losing about 6 handles i think). Although, in the meantime took about 12 days worth of '+3's' and a few '+10's' or so when it was getting way too oversold and i had the confidence to hold out for bigger wins (also at bigger stakes)

I stopped thinking about this as a 'single trade' ages ago, once i was making money on the overall position (a while ago now), which makes it even harder to keep track of! Its just another day to me.

My account tends to grow the most when I am on the wrong side of a move and then im in heavy for the inevitable rebound.

But like I said ages ago, my ES trading style really isn't suited to a trading forum.

I might start posting in the CL journal though, where i trade in a much more 'typically' fashion with smal stops.

    cheers
