was thinking they would clear stops over 771, still have a sell zone at 774 but is weaker per the previos test at 771.25

 

Seems to me that u are trying to catch a longer term trend with a countertrend approach intraday, why no just go with intraday trend change?

 

looks to me that the mkt is just testing the highs and getting ready for the afternoon selloff.
