It is not a battle between the usual trading crowd. We are talking about massive liquidation here, day after day. Until enough cash is raised to meet the demand, more selling is expected. To figure out where the low is - a week of going nowhere with no volume is a good starting point.
A week of dead market - No liquidity, no buyers, no sellers. That implies, - fund liquidation is done - retail speculation is over - day trader on indices are mostly toasted In short, no one wants to trade or talk about the stock market any more.
