  8. When ES dropped through 1420 without stopping, I impulsively went short full position at 1419.50. Closed out 1/2 at 1416.00 for +3.5. Held other 1/2, but market turned and stopped out at 1418.00 for +1.5. Now flat.

EDIT: I'm done for the day, with better than 15 handles in the bag. Another exciting trading day. See you all tomorrow. Good trading!

EDIT: One minute before close of AMEX, sold 2000 shares of SDS double-short S&P 500 ETF at market, locking in a huge profit. Bought when S&P was at 1485. S&P/ES now touchling lower channel trendlines on my 240-min, daily and weekly charts. Looking for upmove tomorrow; upon confirmation, may buy SSO double-long S&P 500 ETF. If today wasn't a panic bottom, I don't know what is. Look at the ES hourly chart...it's amazing!

  10. this is from the eod news

    RECESSION FEARS WEIGH HEAVILY
Battered stock and bond markets are sending an increasingly ominous signal that a U.S. recession could be near. But the markets haven't swayed the Federal Reserve from the view that the nation's economy can escape a downturn.

There is so much recession talk and even analysts here are pushing a similar line with the US and how its going to effect our markets. I cannot help but think that such a polarized view will be heavily faded very soon.

I like Apex's bullish view prior to hes bear filp half an hour ago.

Good afternoon all, appreciate all your posts
