  4. it takes all kinds, never a shortage
of experts on et. spectre what is your thinking on the rate cut, thanks.

  5. most everyone is expecting a rate cut to save the market, and the probability for it increases everyday, and eventually it gets factored into the price, you might see a reflexive rally, but the dynamics dictate it gets sold into hard.

the macro factors, are screaming to sell this market hard, but the big money is waiting in the wings for the rate cut to be out of the picture. Since the first rate cut has huge position risks. Meaning you can't put 10,000 lot positions on and hope to cover, on a surprised rate cut without massive slippage.

so the market is in status quo mode, really making no headway eitherway, but short covering rallies are more apt to occur. Its really bleak out there, and only time or another world event could possibly alter the psychology or shift it.

I anticipate, after the first rate cut we reflexively test 1490 with stops at 1484 spilling, and then the days following to sell off hard and test 1380, its an excellent trade to wait for. Offers primo R:R.

  7. I agree Spectre... that 1488 - 1492 offers some pretty real resistance. The 50-day MA is not to be messed with. Its nicely placed for 1484 stops to get blown, breakout traders to get long, and the real big guys that need the massive liquidity to get short for a big down-move. I have no idea where its really gonna go though, but thats a good scenario to keep in mind.

BTW, I just turned brotherben on ignore also :p Cleans up the thread nicely.

  8. BTW, I just turned brotherben on ignore also Cleans up the thread nicely.

I really have nothing against the guy, if he would structure his statements better, and not talk like a forrest gump, it wouldn't be so much of a headache.

And I don't even know if his statement was directed at me or someone else and it doesn't matter, what does it matter to him? If he comes in here spewing his wisdom fine, but don't infer negativity on others.

I could care less, what methods people are using, traders are a stubborn bunch, its very hard to adopt someone else's method, its really a evolution in developing your own method and how it suits you. And the key thing is whether it makes money over time.

I hate messages that are in a round about way. It really gives me a headache.

And most of all I hate negativity.
