Most likely it will -- just gotta wait a bit. Thin volume can be a good thing. In that it can rip a few points very easily.
I exited some longs, Monday's retail sales news.. I don't want to go into it holding anything. http://www.forexfactory.com/calendar.php edit: granted news doesn't matter, but I can't see the FED cutting rates anytime this week, unless the stock market/credit markets start to fall apart again. The FED will only act when things look desperate, and equity prices are a good measure of desperation. So if the market wants a rate cut, it has to sell off and make new lows. It implies the credit markets will still be tight. The retail sales data if it comes in strong, we could see a huge rally. My stomach is telling me its going to come in weak.
