took it OUT here for +60 another amazing day. Having a hot spell. These do NOT tend to last too long for me so I expect to be a rather good fade going forward for a bit! You've been warned lol
Ahem. Told you guys today would open gap up and be a green day. I see there was a bit of a pullback on the Open, though. Prior day mid-range.
Making a one time post here, not posting here again. But never doubt the V. It always happens. Sorry that we've had so many opportunities this January, but it's just impossible for this thing to stay down. It never will no matter what. The V is only going to get stronger over time. You didn't actually think an overnight weekly gap would actually hold did you? This thing can't just gap itself down and start a correction. Just creates too much fomo dip buying. No one was scared by yesterday. Who really thought it had a chance of holding?
I'm down on the day so far. I bought a M2K pre RTH and it's underperforming like my single names. As a bonus, I missed my long entry for NVDA. I thought about closing one of my bear spreads, but said to myself "Let's see how things develop". At least I still have my day job...
Tomorrow is FOMC and I've learned my lesson. Instead of trading tomorrow morning, I'm going to happily get up and drag my a$$ into the office of my day job and stay as far away from my trading rig as possible. Good luck, fellow degens!
Looking forward to it. https://www.elitetrader.com/et/thre...-want-to-be-a-day-trader.382924/#post-6083858
double whammy, be very afraid of nvda price deflates when all the "cooked" account receiveables vanish in next few quarters. https://www.reuters.com/technology/...del-beats-rivals-image-generation-2025-01-27/ The company said its Janus-Pro-7B AI model outperformed OpenAI's DALL-E 3 and Stability AI's Stable Diffusion in a leaderboard ranking for image generation using text prompts.
Stop to breakeven on this one. Decided not to add on based on the price action in the first 30 minutes today but still may this week. A little surprised that we broke 6075. I don't think the move down is over.
