What Mervyn said With this deal: It's more expensive for Americans to buy Japanese cars, but It's still more expensive to buy American cars (25% on parts from Mex/Cad, plus 50% tariff on steel, etc.) PS: who the fuck says that they want manufacturing in the US and then places high tariffs on ***inputs***
But hey, at least placing a 17% tariff on Mexican tomatoes at the same time they deport (or make stay at home, terrified) tomato pickers in the US will sure bring the price of those groceries down
