FWIW, I think this can be the range low...as I'm long that's at least what I'm praying for. Maybe the big sell comes on Wednesday when the FOMC does not cut rates and all hell breaks loose between Trump and Powell.
Honestly, trading would be the easiest daily money that one could wish for if it weren't for the gambler behavior which seems to infect almost everyone who comes at this. I feel if I could get rid of these moments where the undisciplined degen in me takes over, I'd be a million dollar trader by now. I feel that I know exactly what I have to do to get there. And I do what needs to be done for weeks at a time. And then, like Jekyll to Hyde, I become unhinged, and have to start over, not always from scratch, but after every tilt it sure feels like it.
Right. It's not easy. I haven't done any 'psychological' work in a long time. Maybe there's something which could be beneficial to address these issues. Bigger daily wins have helped me a lot as a 1-2K losing day isn't the end of the world if I made $5-10K last week. But in the past, I could have 10 x $200 days in a row and then lose it all on that $1-2K day. Anyway, those tools with TopstepX are really great. When I go back to trading my personal account eventually I would want to implement similar stuff there. I know Ninjatrader already have a hard coded daily loss limit. That's the most important one, I think.

Success! 3 long scalps and a 1 short scalp YM at opening. I may need to call it a day despite the large moves anticipated today. Being mindful of the level of focus I can deliver is an immense aspect of my trading.
