I've not been doing this nearly as long as you, but I feel that there are enough days where NQ does its own thing that it can be harmful to my trading if I dwell too much.
If NQ should finally join in I can see more than 40 on ES. But if not, that's possibly the best case scenario for ES today? Yes. The easiest days seems to be when they're moving in sync, though. Bit of a disconnect today.
ES and NQ both inside days. Only YM is in breakout. ES much closer to shedding inside day status than the NQ. Maybe they both stay inside during the US hours today and then the Euro traders can run it up ahead of the PMI and Consumer Sentiment numbers tomorrow?
I'm changing my profit target to 44.50 (monetary target). NQ is breaking out and going green it seems.
I see. You are using NYC data only. I was looking at the 24/5. We must be careful. This is how wars start
Correct. I've always used the SPX hours. Ugh. NQ just weak as hell today. Normally I'd say ES would be good for another pop, but not so sure now...
ES bounced at the RTH VPOC. Not a big part of my toolbox, but I was scrolling around looking for hope on that pullback. NQ as well, although that one overshoot by a bit hitting VWAP.
