V man is so quiet lately ...

I bet he will come back screaming "impossible we go down, V force is unstoppable" the first chance he gets.

  4. LOL. You think?

Came in at consensus/forecast the last two times. 0.1% below in October.

Last three CPI days have been fairly muted to be honest. I'm thinking tomorrow's number have to be shocking to matter much at this point.

If it comes in hot, well, wow.

Monthly chart reveals no obvious down move in the offing. It could happen of course, but right now it suggests that we are near the low of the pullback and will more than likely continue upwards.

Weekly suggests that this is a pullback similar to the Handle on a Cup and Handle. I look for continued upside

Daily appears as a nice gentle pullback/drift in an overall uptrend. Long seems to be the correct direction in my view

In fact, I think a case can be made for the Cup and Handle on the daily chart

  9. I'm on the other side of that thesis (literally-- I'm currently short). As long as rates stay elevated, I don't see it happening.

    We shall see.

  10. Umm, We already had PPI today. When PPI comes first, the CPI next day doesn't bring much change. So you'd expect it to be a non-factor.
