It's been said a million times before but markets don't like uncertainty (putting aside the unmentionable OrangeGuy in this topic) it's Friday so barring a new tweet I don't see how it "rallies" much, if at all, into the close.
The last few times we had a similar structure on a Friday at this point in time we closed at or near the low... 1 hour 45 minutes left. Don't buy this crap beyond a scalp.
April 2nd falls on Tuesday. Monday will most likely be a continuation of today, if not worse. You think the Orange dude will send out a new tweet backpedaling his earlier promise to nuke everyone with tariffs?
The last few decades tell me weakness before another uncertain weekend almost never closes much above the LOD/LOW. And then we have EOM/EOQ on Monday.
I wouldn't be surprised if we tank from here into the close. After all, it is Friday. Would you wanna hold a position over the weekend knowing April 2nd is within earshot?
