Sorry @schizo I just noticed something unusual, and that needed to be addressed, to keep the community safe. My apologies.
Not very actively yet, but always have half an eye on the market. Surprisingly often if you run the statistics on any given set of data without context, it's depressingly often 50/50 or 60/40. TWD is one of those days which stands out. Sample size for this is the last 5 years. This day often sees some wide swings early in the day as 'business is taken care of' and if there will be any extended moves it tends to happen after the first 60/90 minutes. Often, but not always... At the end of the day it's just another data point, but I just know from experience and data that this is a day where you don't want to push the long side.
FWIW, I still don't see any reason to be very bullish medium term on this market as I do think it's different this time and not your regular 10 % correction where it's business as normal afterwards. Trump 2025 is a big deal.
trying L here at 90.5 not looking for too much looks lower overall but trying to dance in between the rain drops! (plus i'm off work today and tend to turn into a trade addict on such days lol. not clever)
On a longer term perspective I am waiting for the Trump discount and will start shopping if we see 5k/under 5k or some upward break after consolidation. If stagflation comes in, a bear market could be on the table... And it would be a headache even for the fed. If Trump is on a bla bla bla mode, we might avoid trouble. If he is serious and treats the strongest economy in the world as he treated some of his businesses... Oi oi oi!
Yesterday was an Inside day, and today's LOD 5684.00 so far checked close to yesterday's LOD 5682.50. Very likely, of course, to attempt at least another try of breaking it.
Something else Monday was a WRB and we have basically been contained within it since - other than Weds and Thurs trading above, a little bit relatively speaking, but closing back below. Thinking it is coiling for a breakout and that direction might be down.
