Well, word is cheap. If you want me to believe you, you need to show me. As for me, I think I've given more than enough evidence to show price trumps volume.
I personally don't care what you believe or don't believe but I do care when someone says something as stupid as that blanket statement was on a public forum full of people trying to find the holy grail. It's irresponsible.
My claim that Volume is useless is a irresponsible thing to say on a public forum? LOL Where the hell am I suppose to say it then? Behind a closed door among like-minded hacks? I don't think so. Anyway, I would be happy to go head to head with you on calling market reversals to see which is better: pure price or price+volume or your other favorite VWAP.
Wish I had the time. You need to check that ego. It's going to come back to bite you, if it hasn't already.
I tried understanding volume. Sometimes volume spiked up. Then it was caused due to the price going parabolic and later the price reversed. Well some other times the volume was caused by more traders joining the party. These are two different things. Volume by itself was not of much use at least for me. You can disagree and maybe provide your understanding.
Touché. I think people like you who try to validate things that obviously don't work to be more irresponsible. But to each his own.
I've talked about volume profile before. No need to do so again. Happy to provide material if you want to learn more about it.
